Look to Jesus: The Cross Makes the Difference
What do we do when we feel low, afraid, guilty, worried about our past, or overwhelmed by what we are facing? Where do we turn when we struggle to trust God?
Look to Jesus. Look to the cross.
The cross reminds us of who God is, what Jesus has done, and what His death and resurrection mean for us. Jesus bore our sin and its consequences so that we could be forgiven, cleansed, redeemed, set free, healed, and brought near to God.
The cross is the solution to all our problems. When we put our trust in Jesus, the truth of the cross changes how we live now. Because of what Jesus has already accomplished, we can face what is in front of us with confidence in Him, knowing that His finished work is greater than anything we may be facing. If God did not spare His own Son but gave Him for us, how will He not also graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:32)
