We often approach God the way we approach the world, believing we must earn His blessings through our good works.

But God doesn’t deal with us on the basis of our works. He deals with us on the basis of His grace.

The cross is the greatest demonstration of God’s grace.

It reveals two incredible truths:

• The fact that Jesus willingly died for us shows how valuable we are to Him.
• The fact that Jesus had to die shows how serious our sin is and that we could never save ourselves.

What God’s grace has made possible through Jesus Christ is far greater than we can imagine. Through The Great Exchange at the cross, God’s grace gave us what we could never earn and could never deserve.
