Faith: The Hand That Receives Grace
If God’s grace has already provided everything we need through Christ’s finished work, how do we receive it?
Faith is the hand that receives what God’s grace freely gives. It is God’s way of operating.
God does not ask us to earn what His grace has already provided. He invites us to receive it by faith. Faith is saying “yes” to God’s grace. But biblical faith is much more than positive thinking. It is not trusting in ourselves, our feelings, or our circumstances. It is placing our complete trust in Jesus Christ.
Faith begins with knowing Jesus, grows into believing Him, and leads us to fully trust, surrender, and rely on Him.
The question is not only “How strong is my faith?” but “Who am I placing my faith in?” Even the weakest faith in a faithful God is greater than the strongest faith placed in ourselves.
In this sermon, Pastor Jeevan Chelladurai helps us discover:
- Why faith is the response God desires from us
- How faith positions us to experience God’s grace
- Why the object of our faith matters more than the strength of our faith
- Why faith is much more than positive thinking. How faith begins with knowing Jesus, grows into believing His Word, and leads to trusting Him completely
Watch the full sermon and discover what true faith is, how God operates, and how to receive all that He has prepared for you through Christ.

We’ve shared three sermon links below to help you listen, reflect, and keep growing in your faith. Take some time this week to explore them and think about what it looks like to trust Jesus and live out your faith every day.
As you read and listen, pray:
“Holy Spirit, open my eyes to understand Your Word, help me know Jesus more, and grow in faith to trust Him each day.”
